How Sure Are You?

1way to be 100% Sure

The 4 Principles of Christianity & Salvation
  1. Understand that God loves you, and He created you to know Him personally.

In John 3:16 Jesus says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

In John 17:3 Jesus says, "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."
  2. We cannot know God or His love personally, because man is sinful.  Romans 3:23 tells us that, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"  This sin is what separates us.

Romans 6:23 tells us that, "the wages of sin is death."  This death is spiritual separation from God.
  3. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin.  It is through Jesus alone that we can personally know and experience God's love.

Romans 5:8 tells us that, "God demonstrates His own Love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"

I Corinthians 15:3-46 tells us that, "Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures..."

John 14:6 tells us that He is the ONLY way, "Jesus said to Him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"

Jesus is the only Bridge between God and Man.

He paid the price for our sins.  He died so that we might live.

  1. Knowing these truths alone is not enough. Each of us must individually receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.  Then we can know God personally and experience His love.

    We Must Receive Christ:
    John 1:12
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name"

    We Must have Faith:
    Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast."

    When We Receive Christ...
    We Experience a New Birth:
    John 3:3,5-8
"Jesus answered, 'I tell you the truth, unless one is born again, he cannot be in God’s kingdom.'...'I tell you the truth, unless one is born from water and the Spirit, he cannot enter God’s kingdom. Human life comes from human parents, but spiritual life comes from the Spirit. Don’t be surprised when I tell you, ‘You must all be born again.’  The wind blows where it wants to and you hear the sound of it, but you don’t know where the wind comes from or where it is going. It is the same with every person who is born from the Spirit.'"

    We must Personally Invite Him:
    Revelation 3:20
Jesus reveals to us, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him..."

Receiving Christ involves turning to God away from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive us of our sins and to make us what He wants us to be.

If you are ready to receive Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you can do it right now by Faith through Prayer.
