Hopefully, we now have at least a working definition of what a
Christian is. There are two additional points to consider
about our definition of what a Christian is.
1) What is the Bible
2) Why do we say only the
"66 Books of the Holy Bible"
This may sound trivial to some, but this is a critical concern.
Why?....
Because this is where Billions have been and are being led astray
with cults, false doctrines, etc.
As you will soon see, many "Religions" claim to believe
in the same God of the Bible and/or in the same Jesus of the Bible,
but they do not.
Let's first look at the Bible itself.

|
The word Bible actually comes from a plural word that means
books. There are
actually 66 Books in the Holy
Bible. Christians know the Bible to be written by
men...directed by God.
The Bible is divided into two main sections.
They are the OLD
TESTAMENT and the NEW
TESTAMENT.
V
Did you know that the word Testament also means Covenant! (We
will look at this more in the proceeding pages.)
There are 39
Books in the Old Testament and 27
in the New Testament.
Each one of these larger sections is arranged is a certain order.
It is not chronologically as many might assume.
The next page will outline
how these are arranged to form our Bible.
